UPDATE: Summit Fire Grows To More Than 1300 Acres, Evacuation Order Remains In Effect

UPDATE (3:30 p.m.): The Summit Fire has continued to grow, with Incident Command reporting the wildfire at approximately 1,300 acres.

UPDATE (3:17 p.m.): San Bernardino County Fire officials said they have dispatched two strike teams, a dozer and overhead personnel to the Piñon Hills area to provide structure defense as the Summit Fire continues burning in neighboring Los Angeles County. Officials also said there are currently no evacuation warnings or evacuation orders in effect for San Bernardino County residents.
