Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for a 3-year-old girl who police say was abducted out of California City in Kern County Friday night.
The child, Emaria Peel, was taken by 31-year-old Charnay Mclin, CHP said. The two were last seen near the intersection of Redwood Boulevard and 83rd Street in California City at 7:17 p.m.
Mclin is armed and dangerous, according to the California Highway Patrol. She is thought to be driving a gold 2021 Kia Sorento with the license plate 36095DV.
Peel is described as having black hair and brown eyes. Mclin is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. CHP provided photos of the victim and suspect in the image above…
