Midnight Street Killing Shakes Vermont Vista Crossroads

A 35-year-old man was shot to death early Friday at the intersection of Vermont Avenue and 102nd Street in the Vermont Vista section of South Los Angeles. Officers arrived around 12:30 a.m. to find the man suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released his name, pending notification of his family.
