Fiery crash shuts down 210 Freeway near Hansen Dam

Four people were hospitalized after a fiery multi-car crash temporarily shut down one side of the 210 Freeway near Hansen Dam in the San Fernando Valley Saturday.

Firefighters with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a crash west of Osborne Street involving at least two vehicles on the westbound side of the 210 Freeway at 5:48 p.m. Firefighters extinguished a burning box truck at the scene.

All westbound lanes of the freeway were closed shortly before 6 p.m. while crews attempted to extinguish the flames and clear the crash from the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
