Officials are warning about dangerous beach conditions as Southern California braces for the most extreme days of an extended heat wave this weekend.
“The dominant weather pattern continues to be that ridge of high pressure,” KTLA’s Kirk Hawkins said Friday morning. “There is a moment when we’ll even see that monsoonal moisture returning, so humidity levels will be higher than normal toward the latter part of the weekend.”
