TIBURON, CA — Police arrested two suspects from Southern California on September 6, implicated in Tiburon vehicle burglaries and identity thefts targeting hikers. Both men remain in custody at Marin County Jail, pending review of open charges.
The suspects are identified as Jaime R. Garrido-Guerrero, 64, of Inglewood; and Hernan Reyes-Correa, 55, of Los Angeles. They face charges involving conspiracy, grand theft, forgery, fraud, receiving stolen property, and possession of burglary tools.
Multiple vehicles were broken into at Blackie’s Pasture parking lot, used by hikers to access the Old Rail Trail in Tiburon. Credit and debit cards were stolen from parked vehicles, and used to make fraudulent purchases in Corte Madera, and San Francisco…
