Authorities have identified a pilot and passenger who were killed in a small airplane crash in Hesperia last week.
Guy Kapulnik, 46, of Los Angeles, who was piloting the single-engine aircraft, and passenger Taylor Laska, 33, of Santa Monica, died in the crash, which took place shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in the area of Summit Valley Road and Telephone Canyon Road, according to San Bernardino County coroner’s officials.
Multiple witnesses called 911 to report seeing the plane, later identified as an Aeronca 7AC Champion, plummeting downward and impacting the ground in a field, San Bernardino County Fire Department officials said at the time…
