Silver Lake—A set of three partly constructed houses that have stood unfinished for years at Glendale Boulevard and Rowena Avenue are headed for the auction block, scheduled for a foreclosure auction this morning in Pomona at 11 am.
Planning and construction along the particularly visible corner has been ongoing — on and off — since 2017, and the site has attracted clutter and vandalism. The property at 2800-2804 Glendale Blvd. is now in default on a $4.2 million loan recorded on March 4, 2024, with an unpaid balance of $3.5 million, according to property records and the Notice of the Trustee’s Sale.
Around the time of the 2024 loan, the owner of the property, Hardy Wronske of Everelle Build Co., said he expected to finish construction before the end of that year. Wronske has not commented on the project since then, and has not responded to inquiries on this latest development…
