A woman accused of fatally striking a member of London’s Metropolitan Police Service with her car on Hollywood Boulevard has been charged with murder and two felony DUI counts, according to a complaint filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The victim was identified as Samuel Reece Brown, 33, who was visiting Southern California when he was struck shortly before 11 p.m. on Oct. 4 at Hollywood Boulevard and Cherokee Avenue. Brown was walking in a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a westbound vehicle, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
