A major fire incident occurred at Allcar an auto body shop located on 7255 N Clybourn Avenue in Sun Valley California. The incident, a greater alarm structure fire, required the response of 78 firefighters who acted quickly to control the blaze. Despite the challenges posed by the 80′ x 120′ one-story commercial building, the firefighters managed to extinguish the fire in a span of 61 minutes. It is worth noting that the firefighters operated in a defensive mode throughout the operation.While battling the fire, the responders also prioritized the safety and well-being of those present at the scene. One individual was transported to a local hospital due to a medical complaint, although it is not directly associated with the fire or smoke.To ensure complete extinguishment, the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Heavy Equipment and RS3 (remote firefighting vehicle) continued their efforts. This extended operation will focus on identifying and addressing any remaining hot spots and smoldering debris to prevent any potential re-ignition. The firefighters, thankfully, did not sustain any injuries during the incident.The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, as authorities work to determine the factors that led to this unfortunate incident.
