COMPTON (CNS) – A man was found shot to death Sunday morning in Compton, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at about 2:10 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Long Beach Boulevard, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Deputies responding to the scene were flagged down regarding a gunshot victim in the backyard of a home. Deputies discovered the man lying on the ground unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds to the upper body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, and no further information was immediately available.
