Just after midnight on Friday, a late-night trip home from Commerce Casino ended in an armed robbery outside a residence in Reseda near Archwood Street and Vanalden Avenue. Police say the victim was followed from the casino, confronted at gunpoint outside the home and robbed of a bag holding about $2,500 in cash. The suspects took off, and officers are still working to track them down.
According to ABC7 Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Police Department said three suspects tailed the victim from Commerce Casino, then approached once the person arrived home. At least one of the three was armed. ABC7 reports the holdup happened shortly after midnight Friday near Archwood Street and Vanalden Avenue. Police told the station the thieves escaped with a cash-filled bag and that an active search for the trio is underway.
