LASD to Conduct Another Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Operation in West Hollywood, April 27

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) West Hollywood station is conducting another a traffic safety operation this month on, Monday, April 27, from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., focused on the most dangerous driver behaviors that put the safety of people biking or walking at risk.

LASD conducted a similar operation on April 20, resulting in 50 citations that day. Deputies issued seven cell phone citations, 10 speeding infractions, 18 stop sign violations, 10 failures to obey posted signs, and two failures to yield to pedestrians. The remaining citations included miscellaneous violations, such as running a red light.
