CHP seizes $600,000 in stolen Home Depot tools from SoCal swap meet

California Highway Patrol investigators have dismantled a high-value theft ring that turned stolen construction tools into a profitable swap meet business.

The Southern Division’s Organized Retail Crime Task Force successfully identified two individuals in a methodical “fencing” operation that targeted Home Depot locations throughout Southern California.
