A quiet Wednesday morning in Jefferson Park turned chaotic after police say a man stabbed another man, then barricaded himself inside a nearby building before finally surrendering hours later. Officers flooded the 4200 block of Mont Clair Street, a couple of blocks south of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, after calls came in around 6:10 a.m. Paramedics rushed the victim, a man about 40, to a hospital in at least serious condition, while the suspect, described as a man in his 40s, was taken into custody roughly four hours after the first reports.

According to MyNewsLA, the Los Angeles Police Department received reports of a cutting in the 4200 block of Mont Clair Street at about 6:10 a.m. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the wounded man, believed to be around 40 years old, to a hospital, where he was listed in at least serious condition.
