Two Pedestrians Killed Near Leo Carrillo on PCH Within 16 Hours

MALIBU – Two pedestrians were killed Monday in separate crashes on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) just north of Leo Carrillo State Beach, putting new attention on safety concerns for the coastal highway.

The City of Malibu said the first fatal collision happened at about 4:40 a.m. Monday. The second occurred about 8:30 p.m. the same day. Both crashes happened outside Malibu city limits in Los Angeles County.

No arrests were made in either case. The drivers in both crashes remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement, according to the city…
