A 5-month-old husky named Nutella that recovered from leg amputation surgery quickly found his forever home Friday, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles said.
The red and gray pup came to the nonprofit in March with a front right leg that curled toward his chest. After it was determined his leg couldn’t be fixed and wouldn’t grow, spcaLA’s medical team performed surgery to ensure Nutella’s long-term comfort and mobility, the nonprofit said in a news release.
Nutella spent some time recovering from the surgery in a foster home and is now “fully healed and thriving,” according to the organization. In fact, staffers say he is stronger and faster than ever before…
