WESTWOOD – A woman in her late 70s was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Westwood Friday night, one day before traffic safety advocates gathered nearby to honor three people killed in another Westwood crash.
The crash was reported around 10:10 p.m. Friday at Wilshire Boulevard and Malcolm Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Police said the woman was crossing outside of a crosswalk when a driver traveling southwest on Wilshire Boulevard struck her and fled.
