Santa Monica police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a Metro bus on Friday afternoon.
The deadly collision happened around 2 p.m. at Main Street and Ocean Park Boulevard, according to police.
Metro told KTLA that one of its 33 Line buses was pulling away from the bus stop when it made contact with the pedestrian. Preliminary reports indicated the person was not in a crosswalk and positioned themself under the bus as it pulled away, the agency said…
