2 wildfires in Antelope Valley trigger evacuation warnings, shelter-in-place for some residents

Two wildfires are burning near Lancaster on Saturday, triggering evacuation warnings and a shelter-in-place order for some Antelope Valley residents as strong winds help drive the flames.

This comes as parts of Los Angeles County are under a red flag warning.

Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger released a statement saying she is closely monitoring the fires. She urged residents to follow orders and be ready to go.
