South American crime ring used Wi-Fi jammers in LA-area burglaries

(NewsNation) — Seven people have been charged in connection with nearly a dozen robberies over several months, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

The thefts targeted the San Fernando Valley and surrounding communities, officials said.

“These organized burglary crews target hardworking families in the very place they should feel safest — their homes,” Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said in a news release. “The conduct alleged in these cases is brazen, calculated and predatory.”
