In his 2026 budget proposal, Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg outlined nearly $1 billion to fund Metro Government operations in the coming fiscal year. Along with major funding for a future Highlands-Shelby Park Library and first responder training, the budget would also slash money for the Soil and Water Conservation District by more than half.
