Shelby County residents concerned over proposed 42-inch natural gas pipeline

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A community meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, at 6 p.m. at the Ruritan Club in Finchville as Shelby County residents push back against a proposed Texas Gas Pipeline project.

Neighbors say the 42-inch natural gas pipeline would cut through local farmland — including property reportedly tied to a Civil War massacre.
