LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – After an emergency suspension order was issued to the Louisville club, Atomic, people from around the city are speaking up about ways to stop the crowds in the Highlands.
The Highlands Commerce Guild is the latest to chime in. Wednesday’s meeting was heavily attended with business owners, along with LMPD officers who patrol the 5th division, a representative from Metro ABC and a representative from Rep. Morgan McGarvey’s office.
At the meeting, Councilman Ben Reno Weber said in the past adding lighting, closing parking lots and increasing police presence has worked, but now more needs to be done. He said the topic of closing bars earlier is an option that’s being discussed now more than ever before…
