The Louisville man responsible for a 2023 police chase that ended in the death of a 10-year-old Oldham County boy was sentenced Wednesday to 40 years in prison.
In Oldham County Circuit Court on Wednesday afternoon, 12th District Court Judge Jerry Crosby sentenced 26 year-old Tymetrius Walter for his role in the death of the boy.
Walter pleaded guilty last month to vehicular homicide while under the influence and several other charges stemming from the deadly crash that killed Jake Luxemburger.
