LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville’s health department shut down six local pools Thursday after water samples tested positive for bacteria.
The listed pools that were closed are:
- The Landings
- Crowne at Summit Apartments
- Asbury Park
- Bridgepoint Swim & Tennis Club pool and wading pool
- Wolf Creek pool
- Sutherland pool and wading pool
Kathy Turner, a spokesperson for the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness, said those pools tested positive for bacteria that can cause illnesses like vomiting, diarrhea, skin infections, ear or eye infections.
