3 firefighters injured battling vacant west Louisville house fire

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Three Louisville firefighters were injured while battling a vacant house fire early Sunday morning in Louisville’s California neighborhood.

The Louisville Fire Department responded around 12:09 a.m. to the 1600 block of Prentice Street, where crews found heavy fire coming from a vacant two-story home. Firefighters said the flames had also spread to a neighboring house, prompting a second alarm
