Goodwill CEO issues urgent donation warning for shoppers with chilling theory

A GOODWILL CEO has issued an urgent warning to shoppers as she fears some donations are putting the nonprofit’s programs at risk.

She said well-meaning customers should take special care before throwing a piles of clothes in parking lot donations bins.

That’s because some of the bins are fake and being used by fraudsters to collect donations and resell them for a profit.

Amy Luttrell, the president and CEO of Goodwill Kentucky, said donations put in non-certified bins are “going to a for-profit company that’s almost certainly outside of Kentucky,” she told Fox affiliate WDRB in January…
