LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – State highway officials have released a roadmap for improving Kentucky highways over the next several years and it includes plans to address some of Louisville’s most congested spots.
The plans include rebuilding the loop ramp from Watterson west to I-65 South and improving both ramps from I-65 to the Watterson east, both trouble spots during rush hours.
The plan also includes a new exit off I-65 at Gilead Church Road near the Blue Oval plan in Glendale, extending Ring Road in Elizabethtown from the Western Kentucky Parkway to I-65 and relocating the Commercial Vehicle Monitoring Station on I-65 South…
