Seth Trimble ‘Extremely Likely’ to Pursue State Lawsuit Following 10th Circuit Ruling

Louisville guard Seth Trimble is “extremely likely” to pursue relief through a state lawsuit in Kentucky following the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals’ ruling, sources tell CardinalAuthority.

One source said Trimble is expected to either join a state lawsuit in Kentucky or file one of his own in an effort to preserve his eligibility for the 2026-27 season.

The development comes after the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals stayed the Colorado ruling that had provided relief for Trimble and other college basketball players seeking an additional year of eligibility.
