LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man wanted in connection with a deadly downtown Louisville shooting in July was arrested more than 1,800 miles away in California.
Louisville Metro Police said Marlon Porro Duane, 25, was arrested Thursday, Aug. 20, in Indio, California, by the U.S. Marshals Service. Duane was wanted in connection with the July 19 shooting that killed 28-year-old Giovani Castillo Garcia.
Police were called around 4:14 a.m. that day to the 600 block of South 3rd Street, where officers found Castillo Garcia with a gunshot wound. Officers provided aid until EMS and the Louisville Fire Department arrived, but Castillo Garcia died at the scene…
