LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Newly released body camera video and crash reports show details from a series of truck crashes this summer at the bridges on Third Street and Eastern Parkway known locally as the “Can Opener.”
Louisville Metro Police Department responded to multiple calls of trucks getting stuck at the bridge. WAVE News obtained 10 crash reports from truckers hitting the bridge.
Nearly all of the crash reports cite inattention as a factor. One driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated. The remaining drivers received traffic tickets…
