LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Tattoo artist Lydia Comer has done fundraisers here or there for causes that are meaningful to her. After hearing of a large animal rescue in Louisville, she immediately knew she wanted to help.
“That’s a way that I can feel like I can do something about things that I wish I could do something about,” Comer said.
Louisville Metro Animal Services rescued 39 dogs, two cats, two parakeets and a ferret from the home in the Camp Taylor neighborhood on Aug. 17.
