Louisville (Ky.) Christian Academy Top247 receiver Ja’Hyde Brown chose to stay home back on March 30 and committed to Louisville and head coach Jeff Brohm. By all accounts, it seemed as though that was all she wrote with this recruitment.
The Cardinals felt great about his decision, and there was a feeling that the 5-10, 186-pounder from the class of 2027 saw his recruitment come to a close with that commitment. After all, it was the hometown program, the coaching staff he connected with the best, and it was well-known that Louisville prioritized him more than just about every school in America. It seemed like a perfect match.
