Terrifying near miss at Kentucky airport as jet aborts landing and panic erupts

The pilot of a UPS jet was forced to make a split-second decision and abort landing after a near-miss with another plane.

The Boeing 767 was flying from Atlanta to Kentucky and was set to land at Louisville’s Muhammad Ali International Airport just after midnight Tuesday. At the same time, a smaller SKQ-25 plane was taxiing on the runway, WHAS reported.

Panicked scenes erupted from the air traffic control tower as they tried to prevent a tragedy from taking place.
