LOUISVILLE, Ky. — If you’re headed to the Louisville Zoo anytime soon, keep an eye out for a little white head in Colobus Crossing. The zoo announced Wednesday a baby colobus monkey has joined the family.
Zoo spokesperson Kyle Shepherd said 6-year-old “Ate” gave birth to a healthy baby boy on May 7. The father is 13-year-old “Dr. Sheldon Cooper.”
The baby monkey will also receive nurturing support from the other females, Nali and Phillis, because within the species, troop females help raise the offspring, she said…
