Wisconsin has completed the flip of 3-star edge Brody Pfannenstiel from Texas Tech. Luke Fickell has been after Pfannenstiel for some time, but the commitment to the Red Raiders remained strong. While Pfannenstiel was willing to come on an official visit to Wisconsin, he was staying committed to Texas Tech.
Before his visit, he said he wanted to give the Badgers a real chance to flip him, but he assumed his visit would only solidify his commitment to Texas Tech. However, Madison and Wisconsin blew him away. He then went on his Texas Tech visit with Wisconsin in the back of his mind. He couldn’t shake the Badgers and left his Red Raider visit ready to become a Badger.
Pfannenstiel is now the second priority recruit that Fickell and the Badgers have been able to flip in this recruiting cycle. Both were considered must-have additions by the Badger coaching staff. Wisconsin got 4-star safety Mekhi Williams flipped from Florida State after his visit to Madison, and now Pfannenstiel has done the same…
