LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Fire Rescue offers a program for homeowners within Lubbock city limits to have smoke detectors installed for free.

Those who are interested can fill out a ‘Smoke Alarm Request’. The department will review the request to ensure the appropriate number of detectors for the applicant’s residence are available before they arrive to install.
