LUBBOCK, Texas — Following the announcement of Donovan Atwell’s return to Texas Tech, the fifth-year guard has run into a potential roadblock to actually suiting up for the Red Raiders.
Atwell was initially covered by a blanket injunction granted to recruits within the class of 2022 by a Colorado judge, which was issued to align with the recent “five-for-five” eligibility rules adopted by the NCAA.
