‘Main dealer’ jailed after 200+ grams of cocaine found at East Lubbock home

LUBBOCK, Texas — A man accused of being the “main dealer” at an East Lubbock home, Jason Phillips, 41, was arrested by SWAT after authorities found more than 200 grams of cocaine, according to court documents obtained on Thursday.

Online jail records showed Phillips was arrested in the 1700 block of East Cornell Street on Tuesday. According to court documents, the Lubbock Police Department was executing a search warrant for the “ongoing distribution of narcotics by [Phillips] and Madonna Love Luna.”

When police and SWAT got to the home and detained Phillips, Luna and her juvenile son, LPD Narcotics officers searched the area and found “several items of contraband.”

Court documents stated Luna admitted to police there was a gun in her bedroom but was “adamant” that it did not belong to her. Court records said she also admitted there was cocaine in the house, and said it was not hers.
