LUBBOCK, Texas — A popular Mexican restaurant is expanding its business in Lubbock.
Asada Mexican Grill will open a second location at The Hub Shopping Center at 7604 Milwaukee Avenue, according to public records. Currently, the restaurant has a location at 10609 Slide Road.

Joel Valenzuela, General Manager of Asada Mexican Grill, said the second location will be a bar and grill, serving its same signature food with the addition of some other foods.
“There will be a lot of TV’s… Live music on Fridays and Saturdays,” Valenzuela said.
Asada Grill hopes to open by mid-November, but could not yet give an exact date as it is still waiting on city inspections.
