LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office received a tip about the location of a stolen vehicle near East Highway 84 and East FM 1585 early October 24. As deputies were en route, the location was updated to 44th Street and Avenue T. According to a press release, deputies located the stolen vehicle and attempted to detain its occupants. However, the individuals inside led authorities on a short pursuit before being taken into custody. The occupants of the vehicle are Robert Barrientos, 35, and Maya Padilla, 18.
