TTUHSC hosted annual Medication Cleanout event Saturday

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Texas Panhandle Poison Center and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center’s Jerry H. The annual Medication Cleanout event occurred on Saturday, April 26, helping over 337 cars.

According to the release, a total of 1,106 pounds of medications and 162 pounds of sharps were discarded. During the event, participants were allowed to drive through and drop off, to discard their medications without leaving their vehicles.
