MCFARLAND, Wis. (WFRV) – An eight-year-old girl passed away earlier this week after being hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross the street, according to a statement from the McFarland Police Department.
On Wednesday, July 8 at around 5:25 p.m., while attempting to cross the street on her bicycle at North Peninsula Way, a vehicle driving east on Broadhead Street unfortunately hit eight-year-old Braeyla Marie Valenza.
McFarland emergency crews responded to the scene and immediately began administrating care. Braeyla suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she later passed away…
