MADISON, Wis. — A smoking electrical outlet prompted a response from the Madison Fire Department at the downtown Nitty Gritty location Thursday night.
Firefighters responded to the restaurant at 223 N. Frances St. for reports of a “smoking outlet” right around 7:30 p.m.
Upon investigation, firefighters noted a smoking outlet behind the bar. The outlet was behind the bar, between an ice machine and a sink. The outlet appeared to be wet, but firefighters found no active fire…
