MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Custom Canines Service Dog Academy is asking the community for help in finding a missing service dog in-training in Madison.
Custom Canines said that Sadie, a brown and white goldendoodle, ran away from her handler on Tuesday afternoon at the UW Health Clinic at 1102 S. Park Street in Madison.
On Wednesday, Custom Canines said a UW Health employee saw Sadie get clipped by a car on S. Park Street, and they believe the dog went into the west neighborhoods behind the clinic towards the zoo side.
“Our hearts are just so worried and we feel just sick about our client not having his dog, and obviously worried about Sadie and wanting to make sure that she is safe and if she needs medical attention that we can assist with that,” said Nicole Meadowcroft, president of Custom Canines.
