Gerson Blas Noe declines to testify in Dane County homicide trial

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The man accused of killing and hiding the body of Ingrid Valverde-Ponce last year will not testify in Dane County court.

Gerson Blas Noe has waived his right to testify during Friday’s trial, meaning jurors will not hear directly from him before deciding the case.

The state introduced more than 20 new pieces of evidence Friday morning, mapping out a digital trail of where police believe Blas Noe was the night Valverde-Ponce disappeared.
