MIDDLETON, Wis. — The City of Middleton is getting ready to replace the Century Ave. bridge over Pheasant Branch, and work on the project begins next week.
The first phase, slated to begin Sept. 8, will see crews relocate utilities and remove trees in the area near the bridge. Drivers and Metro riders won’t see any impacts but a small section of sidewalk on the north side of Century Ave. will be closed to pedestrians.
Additionally, during this first phase of construction, the path to the Pheasant Branch Conservancy at Branch Street and Century Ave. will be closed. Those looking for northbound access to the Conservancy should follow the detour at Marina Drive…
