Village of Oregon – Planning Committee, thank you in advance for taking the time to read my thoughts about Foxboro Golf Course.After listening to the developer and his manager, it is extremely clear their motives are to kill Foxboro Golf Course by failing to maintain the irrigation system and the pro shop building.
By wanting to change Foxboro to a nine hole course would decrease the popularity of the course and give them the opportunity to have the board change Foxboro from recreational to residential, due to financial insolvency. Hopefully the board can see through this ploy.
As brought up recently, the Village does not allow dwellings built on a slope greater than 12%. That right there should eliminate quite a few building sites…
