MADISON, Wis. — Dane County leaders gathered Wednesday morning at the Elver Park Neighborhood Center for a look at County Executive Jamie Kuhn’s 2025 budget proposal. The proposal totals $903,471,341 million and features a nearly 50% decrease in the capital plan compared to that of the 2024 budget. However, taxes will be raised for the average Madison home through a levy increase of roughly $17 dollars.
